Sub:- Academic-Conduct of academic activities in April-May, 2017-Regarding
Ref:- The minutes of the meeting held on 23.03.2017.
                                                          Based on the representations received from various organisations as to the conduct of academic activities in April-May 2017, a meeting was convened at KTU on 23.03.2017. According to the academic calendar published by the University, the last working day is 12th of May, 2017. As per the discussions in the meeting held on 23.03.2017 the conduct of classes in April-May is difficult in certain places due to water shortage. Considering the representations received, the classes can be completed on or after 30th April, 2017, if necessary, compensating the loss of instructional days by arranging extra classes. Moreover, it has been decided to write to the Government and Director of Technical Education to sanction surrender of Earned Leave for vacation staff for the period they work.
